The return of Shah Rukh Khan in the form of Pathane is ready for a grand opening tomorrow. The film had a one-of-a-kind response to early booking. What makes its achievement even greater is that it will be released on a large number of screens. We now have the final tally for the number of screens of Pathane.

The film directed by Siddharth Anand will be released on 5200 screens in India. This includes all three languages - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Its overseas number is 2500. Therefore, its total number of screens in the world is 7700 gigantic screens. The information was shared exclusively by veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his official Twitter page.

But that’s not all. As Bollywood Hungama reported earlier today, Pathane is also the first Indian film to be released in over 100 countries worldwide.

Commenting on the achievement, Nelson D’Souza, Vice President, International Distribution, Yash Raj Films, said, “It’s a very encouraging sign, especially post-pandemic, bearing in mind the resumption of theatrical activity. Pathane will be released in over 100 countries. This is the fourth film in YRF’s spy universe and it’s amazing how our beloved franchise grows bigger and bigger with each film. We are very optimistic about Pathane and what it can collect in overseas territories. It should be able to bring joy back to the theatrical distribution business this early in the year.

Produced by Aditya Chopra for Yash Raj Films, Pathane is an action thriller that also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The film is set to be released worldwide tomorrow January 25th.
