Today, DC Comics revealed the next set of Dawn of DC titles for 2023, with details about the creative teams and future titles. New titles include Titans by Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott, The Green Lantern by Jeremy Adams and Xermánico, and Cyborg by Morgan Hampton and Tom Raney. The year-long publishing initiative was first announced in November, promising 20 new titles, many of which were announced then. The Dawn of DC kicked off this week with Action comic #1051.

That’s not all, however. Scroll down to see some not-yet-officially-announced “hidden” reveals, cover art, and more details for each of the new series releasing in May.

We can see the Superman then Doom Patrol symbols from left to right. Then the highlight of this timeline is the plans for Shazam, Green Lantern, Cyborg, Titans, and Batman around the same time. We can also see Wonder Woman and Hawkman’s shots after these.

But wait, let’s clear that up a bit:

With enhanced thinning, we can see “Return of the JL” and what appears to be “Knights Terrors” further down the timeline. Given the pace of things, one can assume that these later events might not happen until fall or winter. It’s also much clearer that there are purple tentacles and what appears to be a skull in the center of the timeline. Could that mean Brainiac is this year’s big bad?

Dawn of DC: Titans

TomTaylor (Nightwing, The Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent) and artist Nicola Scott (Wonder Woman: History, Earth 2) bring the Titans at the forefront of the DC Universe starting in May.

Dawn of DC: Green Lantern

Green Lantern #1 is available at local comic book stores May 9 and also features the first part of John Stewart’s Green Lantern story by writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson (action comics) and the artist Osvaldo Montos (entropy)– a war diary epic begins again.

The visionary team of Jeremy Adams and Xermánico (Flashpoint Beyond) presents a story of redemption, loss and discovery that you may be able to return home, to Green Lantern. Following the events of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Guardians of Oa at the heart of the Green Lantern Corps have quarantined Sector 2814, home to planet Earth, and its champion with it! A heartbreaking loss sent Hal reeling, returning home to rediscover his roots…and find the man responsible for ruining his life: Sinestro.
