Backpack brand JanSport has launched its collection of highly accessible shoulder bags and backpacks aimed at consumers with disabilities.

The Adaptive Center Backpack and Adaptive Center Sling Bag, which come in black and misty pink color combinations, were co-designed with the disability community with help from disability advocacy group Disability :IN.

Disability:IN was able to connect JanSport with consumers with disabilities to create consumer focus groups. Project inception to product launch took three years, as the company was keen to ensure that it fully understood market dynamics and customer needs.
