There may be a new fashion trend to try this year: no pants. Yes, you read that right. After a year of returning 2000s trends like wearing flared leggings (i.e. yoga pants) and UGGs, Athletics and barbiecore making their way into our closets, celebrities are now sporting the “pantless” look.

What is the “pantless” trend?
It boils down to a lingerie-inspired outfit, according to USA today. You can either go out in booty shorts, a bodysuit as a full outfit, men’s briefs with nothing on top, or wear underwear over sheer pantyhose. The trend may be down to designers and brands like Bottega, Miu Miu and Burberry, who showcased their own versions of the “pantless” look on the catwalk.

Bella Hadid brought the off-duty model look to the sidewalk by wearing men’s briefs like shorts paired with a t-shirt and an oversized leather jacket. We’ve been guilty of wearing white socks and mini ugg boots ourselves, so we think it brings the look together.
