After week-long shows in Paris and Milan, Denmark’s capital is now set to follow suit, ready to kick off the Fall/Winter 2023 antics at the end of January. Unisex label Filippa K is one step ahead of the curve, heading to Copenhagen to launch its latest offering of futuristic clothing immersed in ’70s skiwear designs.

For Fall/Winter 2023, Artistic Director Liisa Kessler looks to heavenly vistas while drawing inspiration from Werner Herzog’s 1974 documentary The great ecstasy of woodcarver Steinerwhich recorded the record success of legendary athlete Walter Steiner.

The new collection draws inspiration from classic cold weather outerwear with athletic motocross touches redefined by Kessler through an ultra-modern lens. Steiner’s signature ski suit is imagined with a whimsical form-fitting design, while pastel hues dominate eloquent fur coats, textured half-zip and après-ski ready garments.

Elsewhere, velvet ensembles ideal for nighttime adventures sit alongside sherpa denim coats, bomber jackets and shiny patent leather ensembles. Finally, the elevated wardrobe is complemented by modernized tailored basics and a single sheer lingerie look.
