Although absent from the Happy Slam, Roger Federer remains a major fashion force.

The 41-year-old Swiss superstar and his wife Mirka Federer were a dazzling dual fashion force for the Chanel show in Paris today.

Eight-time Wimbledon champion Federer, who officially retired from the professional circuit in an emotional farewell at the Laver Cup in London last September, cut a striking figure at Paris Fashion Week.

A smiling Federer, dressed in a sharp gray suit, looked fit and in high spirits as he entered the show smiling and waving at the fans who took snapshots.

Inside, Federer and his wife Mirka sat alongside fashion czar Vogue and a fanatic and devoted friend of the Fed. Anna Wintour and Australian director Baz Luhrmannincluding the biopic on Elvis Presley, Elvis, earned seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role. Although the Luhrmann himself was snubbed in the Best Director category.

Maybe one day Luhrmann will make a biopic about Roger Federer. If so, who should play?

Before his trip to Paris, Federer liked to go down fast.
