Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann warns Serge ‘Gucci-Gnabry’ of ‘consequences’ if he doesn’t perform after the winger was slammed by fans for spending his day off at Fashion Week in Paris just hours after the draw with RB Leipzig
Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has warned Serge Gnabry he must deliver on the pitch after the winger attended Paris Fashion Week the day after their draw with RB Leipzig.
Gnabry, nicknamed ‘Gucci-Gnabry’ by some, spent his day off Saturday next to the podium and dressed head to toe in designer clothes, which drew criticism from supporters of the Bayern after posting photos on social media.
The response was fueled by Bundesliga leaders Bayern dropping two points in a 1-1 draw at Leipzig on Friday night, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Union Berlin then cutting their lead at the top.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann did not condemn Gnabry but said he must keep playing
And Nagelsmann didn’t seem too thrilled with Gnabry’s choice of weekend activity, with Bayern preparing to host Cologne on Tuesday night.
“If it leads to poor performance, it’s not good,” he said. “As long as the answer is right on Tuesday, that’s fine with me. If not, then it’s not OK. And then there will be consequences.
“I think a player can do whatever he wants in his free time. In general, as a normal employer, you cannot tell your employees to go to church on Sunday at 10 a.m., to lunch at 12 p.m. and sleep at 2 p.m.
“It is important that everyone can organize their free time in such a way that they are happy. But it must always be beneficial for his work.
